Pulse module for remote water consumption monitoring
The Apator Powogaz AT-MBUS-NE-02 converts the movement of a compatible water meter indicator into electrical pulses for a data logger, controller or monitoring system. The module reads the indicator optically, detects flow direction and operates on a built-in battery. It mounts directly on a Smart series register prepared for this add-on module.

Water meter compatibility
The AT-MBUS-NE-02 is designed for Apator Powogaz Smart JS/JS90 1.6–4.0 water meters, DN15–DN20, in versions prepared for this optical module. It fits the corresponding cold and hot water meter versions. Check the complete meter designation and register design before ordering.
Connection to a monitoring system
A receiving device with a compatible electronic pulse input is required. Match the pulse weight, the function of each output and the electrical input parameters during installation. Volume is calculated from the received pulse count in the selected mode. A suitable system controller or gateway provides any onward connection to a server.
Frequently asked questions
Does this module communicate over M-Bus? The main AT-MBUS-NE-02 output is electronic pulses. Select a compatible pulse input; the model name alone does not establish M-Bus as its primary interface.
Does one pulse always represent one litre? A 1 litre per pulse setting is supported, but the setting of the ordered unit must be confirmed. The manufacturer specifies pulse weight and output modes at the ordering stage.
Can it connect directly to the internet? Internet reporting requires a separate compatible data logger, controller or gateway with a suitable communication channel.

Specify the water meter model, required pulse weight and the function of each output when ordering. The product is a module with cable. The water meter and data collection equipment are ordered separately; accompanying documents and warranty terms are confirmed for the particular delivery.
The module operating temperature and the water temperature rating of the meter are separate parameters. IP65 is not intended for prolonged immersion. Battery service life depends on the version and operating conditions and should be confirmed in the product documentation.
