Radio module for remote water meter reading
The Apator Powogaz APT-OMS-NA-3 reads a compatible mechanical water meter and transmits its readings over Wireless M-Bus in the 868 MHz band. Optical sensors detect indicator movement and flow direction. The module mounts directly on a prepared Master+ or Master C+ meter register.
Benefits for your metering system
· Mobile or fixed-system reading. A compatible Wireless M-Bus / OMS receiver collects the meter data.
· Optical reading with direction detection. The system recognises forward and reverse water flow.
· Monthly volume storage. Store and read volume data for 1–16 months, depending on configuration.
· Data protection. AES-CBC with a 128-bit key is supported. Access and settings are agreed during commissioning.
· Event signalling. Leakage, backflow, disconnection, magnetic interference and low-battery events are supported. Thresholds and processing depend on configuration.
Water meter compatibility
The APT-OMS-NA-3 is designed for prepared Apator Powogaz JS and JS130 6.3–16 Master+ and Master C+ water meters, DN25–DN40, in the corresponding cold or hot water versions. Before ordering, check the complete meter designation, register design and full radio-module variant code.
Use in a remote reading system
Mobile collection requires a compatible radio receiver or converter and software. Fixed collection requires a Wireless M-Bus gateway that forwards data to a server. During commissioning, match device identifiers, initial readings, telegram format, transmission schedule and access keys.
Frequently asked questions
What equipment reads the module? Compatible Wireless M-Bus 868 MHz equipment is required. The Apator manual lists the AT-WMBUS-02-1 converter as supporting both reading and configuration of the APT-OMS-NA-3.
Which antenna does the module use? Version 2.65.1.1.03 has an internal antenna. Version 2.65.H.1.09 has an external antenna on a 2 m cable. Select the version to suit the installation and check radio reception on site.
How long does the battery last? The catalogue specifies up to 10 years for the listed versions, depending on configuration, with T30/T50 meters at an ambient temperature of 25 °C. Actual service life depends on operating conditions and settings.

Ordering and package contents
The product is a radio module in the agreed version. The water meter and data collection equipment are ordered separately. Specify the meter model, required antenna version and collection-system requirements when ordering.
The IP65 enclosure protects against dust and water jets. The module operates at 0 to +55 °C. The compatible meter temperature class determines the permitted water temperature. Warranty terms are specified in the supply documents.
Order the APT-OMS-NA-3 for a compatible Master+ / Master C+ water meter. Send the complete meter model or a dial photograph and specify the receiver or gateway to check suitability.
